The students from both Varsity Strings and Symphonic Orchestra have worked very hard preparing their parts.
Varsity Strings under the direction of Rhonda Johnson, has expanded their membership along with guests from the Symphonic offering percussion and a string bass. Expect a clever and fun performance.
Symphonic Orchestra will kick off their concert with the strong introduction of Finlandia, then Pavane for a Dead Princess and end the season with selections from Peer Gynt.
We will acknowledge all of our seniors who are moving on to greater heights along with performances of select pieces from four of the seniors.
Many thanks to the mentors who have coached sections and individual students. Inspring and offering special attention to the student's musical needs has been a priority for the CRAYO staff. Again, "thank you".
I am very proud of all the students for their focus to detail and determination to bring forward their best product to the rehearsals. I look forward to the wonderful concert next week.
