Announcing the CRAYO Concerto Contest:

The CRAYO Concerto contest will be held in January. All High School seniors who are members of the Youth Symphony are eligible to compete in this contest for a chance to perform as soloists with the Youth Symphony at their Spring Concert.

The Soloist must perform with a pianist at the competition. The Competition performance must be done from memory. Orchestra parts for the chosen music must be available for the orchestra.

Parent and Family Involvement:
Since CRAYO is a program that tries to keep tuition costs to a minimum and since we have many families with more than one child participating, it is essential that all families volunteer help with fund raising, preparing for concerts and other tasks.  Sign up sheets for these tasks will be passed out at the Parents' meetings.

Grantor:
The CRAYO program is made possible in part by the Target Corporation and the Southwest Minnesota Arts & Humanities Council (SMAHC) with funds appropriated by the State Legislature.
