Spring Season 2012

Our Spring Season will be begin with rehearsals on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Players should plan to arrive at 3:15 for the rehearsal which will end at 5:30. The Spring Concert will be held at the Hutchinson Middle School Gymnasium on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 4 p.m.

The symphony orchestra performs high school and college material from classical to contemporary composers.

Community Outreach:
Besides its semester concerts, CRAYO shares its music with the community in several ways. Outreach concerts are performed in area schools.

CRAYO also collaborates with other area art organizations. For example, dancers from a local dance studio performed with the orchestra during a past concert and a CRAYO ensemble performed with the Hutchinson High School Concert Chorale for a performance of Vivaldi's "Gloria".

The public has been invited to share in various enrichment opportunities, including a master class with members of the Minnesota Orchestra and CRAYO sponsored community performances by renowned college orchestras. Area string students, both youth and adult, have the opportunity to study with outstanding guest conductors by participating in CRAYO's annual summer string camp.
